Clutch question

Ok, on my 76 TR7 I pulled the all the clutch hydraulics out to replace them (both the master and slave were bad). Anyways, there's a little clip that connects the clutch slave pushrod to the clutch fork? in the bellhousing. My problem is that I can't get the new clip on there. Any ideas? It's been driving me nuts.

Also, for those that remember me from before; I still havn't gotten the cylinder head off.
