TR4/4A Clutch Pressure Plate Wear

My clutch pressure plate, right where the throw-out bearing rubs, is worn down a little bit. I'd say the wear on the "finger-like spring prongs" is about 1/32 of an inch. It doesn't look bad, but for $85 should I replace the plate or would that be premature? I don't want to perpetuate the habit of always assuming "new" is the only way to go. The plate could have ten more years for all I know.

KVH, not a big issue too have some wear on the fingers. I took out a few that were over half worn through the metal and were working just fine. Check the plate and if it is near the rivets, that should be replaced. If you have never seen a new one it might be hard for you to decide how close to the rivets is close. Even new there is not much more than an 1/8 inch, if that.
