T-Series Clutch kits?

Sorry, more clutch stuff.

Ok Moss & VB both sell the Borg & Beck clutch kits with a slight price edge to VB but with the Tony discount Moss wins that argument.

But I noticed that Moss also sells a Quinton-Hazel clutch kit that is $7 cheaper.

So which kit is the better of the two? Don't know much about the Quinton-Hazel as all of the folks I know – have gone no-name or go with the Borg & Beck.

Thought?

QH makes all sorts for our cars, suspension bits, clutches... You'd likely be fine either way.

Did you check around your area parts stores for the Sachs kit?

Or just go thru Our Tony and have done with it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No I haven't checked for the Sachs kit but I have a couple parts stores around the corner that I'll hit this weekend.

Thanks,

I had bad luck with a QH clutch kit for the Midget. Never figured out whether it was just defective or perhaps one for the Spitfire, but the thing wouldn't release even slightly even though I had bled the clutch many times. The clutch arm had the right amount of travel, but the pressure plate didn't budge a bit when I looked at it through the starter hole. Went with a Borg & Beck and it worked perfectly.

When I had the LE's done last year it was recommended from many shops owners and car owners that borg and beck was the way to go....I did and it's work perfectly.

Whichever you want, I can get....at a pretty good price!

Janel - you trying to put theAutoist out of business? hehehehe...I like Steve & he's good people but I can usually beat his prices!

Hehe. Oops, sorry Tony. I forget sometimes that you're the 'go to guy.'

Buy from Tony, buy from Tony, buy from Tony.

as he builds outrageous racing cars from LBC's...

Chicken soup outta chicken s**t??? naaahh... but CLO$E.

I've bought a lot of my stuff from Northwest Imports. I have nothing but positve things to say about them. They even send you a piece of candy with your order! Their prices are usually very good as well. Tony, if you can beat their prices on most stuff, I'll try to send some business your way as well in the future.
