What is the the correct torque for pressure plate to flywheel bolts?
Also for the gearbox to engine bolts the manual says for the 4A 8-10 ft.lbs...does that sound correct?

When comparing the old clutch disc with the new Powertune disc from Moss ....if you look at the non-flywheel side the "part where the input shaft goes" is 1/2'' high on the old clutch and 3/8" on the new disc.
Does this height matter? It seems that this gearbox that I pulled out of the 4A has the 2&3/8 front cover!!!! and it is my understanding that it should have the 1&31/32" front cover. The PO must have installed the wrong front cover but what about the disc height?

I am not sure on the front cover question, but the center piece where the input shaft goes I believe would not make a difference. I see it as a little more beef and, there should be room for it. The TB hits the clutch fingers and the section you are concerned about should sit in that cavity.
