Clutch Fluid / Brake Fluid consumption

I had to top off both the Clutch and Brake fluid reservoir. It had been 1500 miles and 10 1/2 months since I last did that. Clutch needed a couple of drops. Brake fluid was down below the "fill" line by about 5mm. Is that pretty typical? I think I have a sporadic and tiny leak in one of the masters as my floor mat was greasy. However, when I popped open the pedal box, I found no evidence of a leak.

I wouldn't think that's anything more serious than pad wear causing the caliper pistons to extend a bit. The "missing" fluid fills the gap between where the pistons started and where they are now. You could always do a quick check at the fittings to be sure, though.

Mine leaks down the pedal intermittently and results are similar. Could just be pad wear too. Check you floors.
