I am about to put the engine and clutch/transmission back into my 1962 TR3A. When I disassembled the unit and took off the clutch cover, the driven plate stuck lightly to the flywheel, and I neglected to take note of which side of the driven plate touched the flywheel. Now, like the fool I am, I don't know which side faces the block, and which side faces the clutch mechanism. Both sides appear to be in good shape and pretty much the same, with the only difference that rivet heads are on one side. I see in the threads that someone installed a plate "bassackwards" before the mistake was discovered, so I know I'm not the only idiot out there. Advice, please.--jj
P.S. I read somewhere that some plates have a stamped indication showing which side goes to the flywheel, but I haven't found one.
