Clutch Disk Confusion?

My Bently book and my Haynes book all make a note of installing the clutch driven plate (disk) with the "larger splined end" AWAY from the flywheel. Now, the clutch kit I just got from TRF has the larger boss stamped right into the metal "flywheel this side". What gives????????
Guess i give them a call tomorrow, just seemed strange to me.....

All good discs will tell you which side goes to the flywheel.

Check to see whether engine torque will compress the springs or not. If not, it's backwards.
