Clutch Bleeder Screw

What size thread is the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder of a 1966 Midget? I'm thinking of trying out a speed bleeder on it, any reason that is a bad idea?

3/8-24. even better is to run a 2 foot brake line up the inner fender from the slave bleeder hole. It is a 3/8 bubble (single) flare. Then get a union for the upper end, and install your current bleed screw into the union. Now you can bleed in comfort. Peter C.

Ho ho, Peter and Hap have the same solution. We got to keep these guys seperated, they could cause problems.
