Did MGB's ever come with cloth seats?

GT's did & some of the later roadsters had the lawn chair cloth upholstery

Both my '74-1/2 GT's have 'em.

I have cloth seats that match the color of the car custom made the material has the same design as a vynl seat has

I don't know for sure if the original owner had them installed by the dealer or if it was done at some point after that by a subsequent owner. Although I like the look & feel of leather more, I really like my cloth seats. I think they are much more comfortable than vinyl or leather. Cloth certainly has an advantage on a hot summer day and even in the winter feel a bit more inviting than the other two choices.

Here’s a shot of what I like to call my “Black & Tan” interior.

Only thing missing from this pic is the Rollbar padding.

Owner had them done & did a pretty nice job of it!

I re-did my 74 roadster seats over in the GT covers. Much nicer than the vinyl. "What if it rains?" people ask. Run really fast to get top or tonneau on (as you would with vinyl seats anyway).

Hehehee! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif I live in the San Diego area. Oh sure it rains once in a while but not so much as to worry about it.
