SO i come home from work today and a 50 foot Oak tree fell about 2 feet from 2 of the 3 MG. you talk about a Heart attack while coming up my driveway.
lucky they come out ok

Yikes! Good to hear they came out unscathed.

And you're sorted for firewood for the winter now too!

Whew, close call

Glad to hear the good news.

Pat

1976midget, very glad to see the cars didnt get hit!, i have a friend whom upon parking her car in the driveway had a giant oak tree about 70-80 feet tall and at least 7-8 feet across just tip over pulling up its own entire root system along with it crash atop the area just behind the two front seats, she had barely stepped out of the car, it wasnt windy out, not raining/snowing it was a clear spring day, i could believe the damage, blew all the windows out exploded all the tires all the suspension flattened, the body of the car looked like a "bow" tie, when i got to her house she was sobbing uncontrollably i went over to give her a hug when she asked me "what am i going to do" i stupidly told her not to worry that she could put it on ebay as an "easy project" her insurance took care of the rest.

Actually the same thing had happen to a friend and her VW bus she had just unloaded the bus with grocerys and walk in the house and a tree fell on it. the weird thing about my tree is i come home for lunch yesturday and the thing was fine.

Were the cars where you parked them or did they 'run for it'. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

they run for it. [censored] little boogers i found one 3 blocks aways Hiding under a Mans Porch. it took me 2 hours and a Bribe of some 93 octane to get him out of there.
