TR6 Clogged fuel line

After a couple of months of distractions, I finally got back to trying to get my TR6 to start. It didn't and after some troubleshooting, it looks like the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump is completely clogged. Tried blowing it out with air...no luck. Filled it up as best I could with carb cleaner hoping to dissolve any varnish but it doesn't seem to be working. Any clever tricks to unclog the line? I was thinking of pushing a length of baling wire down it to see if I could break up the clog. Or is replacement the only real option?

It’s possible that the clog is in the tank and not the line. Have you also replaced the fuel filter before the pump?
If it’s been sitting for a couple of years I would completely drain the tank and clean it and at the same time check the metal fuel line from the tank and replace the rubber fuel line that feeds the fuel pump.
Be careful and safe working around the fuel!

Tank is drained and all the rubber connectors are disconnected so I can check each of the steel lines independently so I know it is the line that runs the length of the chassis. I worked in a gas station many years ago as a teenager and had safety around fuel drummed into me but thanks for the reminder.

I had that problem with the GT6 I got that had not run for a while. When I ran the car it had a bottle to a electric fuel pump motor was good so a fuel line fix seemed easy enough. NOTE not so much I got a 10 foot coil of steel and new fitting and a good binder and ran the line as the old one now the GT6 runes down the center of the frame not like the TR6 but looking at my TR6 can be done. As the new line is steel it still bends and forms well as you feed through holes and bends Good luck
