I woke up this morning and was an hour late for everything. Dang, I forgot it's daylight savings day.

So I start my semi-annual chore of changing the clocks.

The computers and cell phones take care of themselves, but
The kitchen clock,
The oven clock,
The bedroom clock,
The three wristwatches,
The coffee pot clock,
The refrigerator clock,
The two car's clocks,
The answering machine clock,
The three TV's clocks,
The VCR clock,
The clock radio clock in the shop,
The heater thermostat clock,

I think that is all of them.

I live in the 1830s. Sun came up just like always.

Back then every single town in the world set its clock by the sun. Noon was when the sun was at the top of its arc. You had to change your timepiece (!) if you traveled down the road a day or two.

But of course, folks back then didn't say "come over next Tuesday at 12:15". They said "Come over next week sometime."

Thank goodness PC's change themselves. I've got a list like TR6's only twice as long. Almost there.
 
All my clocks update automatically.
2 computers
2 cellphones (one is used as an alarm clock)
I guess I'll have to set the ones in the cars though.
 
I'm setting them as I get to them...might be a week before they're all correct! Retirement, you know....
