Clearcoat overspray in engine compartment

I had to paint the front of my TR8 and thought that I had the engine compartment well covered. However, after pulling the paper off, there was clearcoat overspray all over. I'm looking for suggestions as to how I can remove the overspray from this area? There are to many corners in this area for a buffer. Also, just to let you know, the engine is removed.

Dude this is not good, you will likely have to re-spray the bay to put it right. The modern clear coats are SUPER aggressive and will stick to any surface they find. In our shop (like most) we bag off each vehicle in plastic and use foam tape to seal off all openings. It is probably not practical to polish (as you said)and it cant be disolved, so sanding and more clear coat will be the best out now.
Be sure not to compound the problem, mask the outside VERY carefully.
