Cleaning Parts??

I was thinking of degreasing the engine with Engine Brite on the '79 Midget with a 1500 engine. Any reason not to? I did repaint the valve cover and the aif filter housing. I plan on repainting as much as is paintable without tearing the engine out again. The engine is pretty dirty. I was a bit concerned about stuff getting into the heater box or how to clean it out since there is dirt inside there already I am sure.

No reason not to do it I can think of. Just be sure to keep the water away from the electrical bits. I'll powerwash mine soon, but I've pretty much stripped the bay.

Tie a baggie around the dizzy and press on. Gunk works well also.

Thank yee kindly!!!!!!!!
