Anyone have experiance hot tanking or otherwise cleaning an old gas tank , it has some rust and old goop that was gas,

normal old gas smell , but the rust has not gone thru so the tank does not leak......
 
Well BeauLieu, it probably won't be long before that old tank starts to leak. So I would consider having it refurbished by Gas Tank Renu rather than trying to patch it up myself.---Keoke

I agree with Keoke, if your going to the trouble of taking it off and cleaning it, go ahead and get it sealed.
