This is a great page with endless important cars photos from Pre-War to classic F1, Indy, sports cars and more. Also, very well organized. The site owner also features some of his cars (such as a Lotus Seven).

I have seen most of the cars that are part of the Lime Rock photos, but there are also some great shots from Monterey, Australia and other places. The pictures below are from part of the 2005 HMSA events.

Speaking of classic photos, I have finally managed to upgrade to a much better photo album system for displaying member's cars. Check it out under "Elsewhere >> Member Cars".

I wrote a script to do an automated transfer of photos and comments from the old system to the new. However, many of the photos in the old system were uploaded befor I modified that system to attach member's names, so in the new system there are a lot of pictures that say they were uploaded by Basil. If anyone sees such photos and knows the ID of true owner/uploaded, please let me know so I can update the database.

I did a quick scouting trip of the website before heading to work this morning, looks impressive from what I've seen so far.

Good find Nial...
