Guy's just a feeler, lost my mini in sandy, saw a mini at a local garage, it is a RHD Mayfair Auto. Left number with garage, didn't really inspect car, didn't want me there, looked like mechanical repair was heading deep. Just wanted to get more knowledge base.

Thanks

Min Mayfair was one of a number of editions that BL came out with to help extend the production life of the iconic Mini. There weren't many autos made, I think it's a reliable-enough unit. The A-Series engine, of course has been made in the millions and has propelled many different makes and models over the years. A replacement shouldn't be too difficult to source if the worst happens. Interior trim might be the only issue, but if you're not fussy over originality then replacement trim from a different Mini should be readily available from the UK.
