As for its being an A conversion to small-mouth, not sure. This one also has the wedge side curtain mounts and no door or boot handles like the A's had. Also, looks like the center gauge cluster may be covered in vinyl.

Could be a "lame duck" TR3...

One plus for sure - it appears to have overdrive.
 
I agree, looks like a late TR3 to me. Seats have been changed, as noted, but I don't see anything else that would be "wrong" for a car around TS20,000. The last TR3 was built in September of 57, which would have almost certainly been titled as a 58.

Still seems like an awful lot of money, even with OD & adjustable steering wheel.
