TR4/4A Chromed parts quality?

I recently purchased new external door handles, door pulls and trunk[boot] hinges from an American supplier for my TR4.
The chrome surface of the parts had multiple small imperfections, and were not show standard quality. The hinges were particularly poor quality.
They were purportedly made in UK which I find hard to believe.
Can anyone recommend a supplier of high quality items. Or I may have to have my originals rechromed and the hinges repinned.

I bought bonnet and boot hinges from TRF (I think). They were fine. I bought rear bumper overriders from TRF or Moss (dunno which now) and the chrome seemed to lack depth. I bought a complete lock set from Moss and they were fine. I sent my valve cover and old overriders for a rechrome and straightening. They came back very nice. I recommend the rechrome route.
Bob
