Chrome strip on rockers

My car didn't have the chrome strip at the top of the rockers when I bought it. I got the two strips (the early, narrow type) but I don't really know how they are attached. TRF sells 'rivet clips' which turned out to be just rivets. It looks like there should be some sort of clips held on by the rivets. What sort of clips do I need and where can I get them?

Thanks,

Bryan

If I remember right, they are basically rivets which stand proud of the surface, and the strip snaps on to them - so take another look at what TRF sent you, they may be fine.

Randy is correct. The strips "snap" onto the rivet heads.
Make sure you position correctly as I recall they do not slide on the rivets.

Well, after taking them out of the bag, I can see that they aren't just plain rivets as I thought. You're right, the strip looks like it will snap on over them. Thanks,

Bryan
