Would anyone know if there's a way to wipe the OS on a Chromebook, and install some version (10, 11) of MS Windows? A former student of mine will need to use his school's Microsoft 365 apps, which don't run on a Chrome OS. Or maybe install Windows on a Chrome OS laptop?

Thanks.
Tom M.

I don't know that the OS would like that, Dave.

If you can't format the drive and start over, then you might try pulling it and slaving it in another computer and formatting the drive that way.

In all likelihood, no. You might get Win10 to work after jumping through a bunch of hoops. A Chromebook is a lightweight by design. Windows + a web browser + 365 will probably exceed the hardware on the chromebook.
