Choke Cables Again

Regarding the earlier post on the black plastic pipe that covers the choke cables on a BJ7, does the plastic pipe fit over the metal tube protruding from the carb and from the bracket on the bulkhead? Or would the plastic cover fit tightly enough around the metal cable to fit inside? mac

I guess that you would have to try the fit. The shrink fit tubing that I use fits pretty tightly.

On my BJ7 the black cover goes over the bulkhead bracket. It stops short of the carb tube, and there's no evidence that it pulled backat some time. It is somewhat loose around the metal cable.
