Chicago Area Body Restorers ?

Hi all:

I'm doing a ground up restoration of my 1963 TR4. I will do all the mechanicals but I'm not good welding or painting the body tub. Does anyone know of someone in the Chicago area who might take the restoration of the body on ? I can take care of the chassis as its thicker and easier metal.

Many thanks

JB

I'll tag team on this post as I am looking for a shop to fix the extensive hail damage on my non TR car (ok, it's an MGB  )

I have a '70 MK III Spitfire. I had my sheet metal replacement work (sills, rear quarters, inner fenderwell) done by Midwest Hot Rods in Plainfield. They did a good job and didn't charge an arm and a leg. The finishing bodywork and paint, they were going to charge too much (for me).

I took it to Accurate Auto Body in Naperville for the finishing body work and paint. They did a beautiful job. Reasonable money. It did take a while (21 months). More profitable jobs came first.

Very happy with the end result and reasonable money.
