Checked YOUR brakes lately?

I googled it and could not find a picture.

Lucky he wasn't driving his Porsche! Could have been another James Dean story!! :eeek:

He owns a 1957 OSCA MT4 according to something I've read.

OSCAs are often referred to as "FIAT-OSCAs". So I'm guessing it was *that* car.

According to several sources, he has the biggest, private, classic Porsche collection in the world. Over 50 rare Porsches, I think.

Fodder for another Barrett-Jackson "high bid" methinks.

feh.

#1 job of "ressurecting" any car that has sat for several years. rebuild the brake system! My Jeep had the brakes replaced %100 before hitting the open road. Breaking down is far less dangerous than not being able to brake.
And that jeep had a working brake system when I got it. I just diden't trust it.
Working on sevral vintage cars a year I've seen some pretty scary things that people drive. Hoses swollen to 2x the size they should be, rotten pipes, leaking cylinders and calipers, and master cylinders.
If you regularly have to add brake fluid to your car, any car, there is a problem. get it looked at, or fix it yourself. do not keep driving it. Especially if it's a pre 67 car with single circuit brakes.
