From the PUB that is.

Here is Basils post.

Well, this is a litle scary, but I just went and got a stand alone dedicated server and have hired a high-powered server management firm to help me get it configured and set up.

So...for starters, I'd like to ask for a volunteer who would be willing to have their web site hosted here for a small fee which would help defray the cost of the server and the bandwidth. I want to start small and relatively simple, so I am looking for someone with a small non-commercial site that would not be too difficult to move to a new server.

It will be a few days before my server is ready, but I thought I'd toss out the idea now.

Basil

Just thought all needed to see that.

Way to go Basil, cheer, clap, and such.

I don't understand most of what Basil is saying but if it will speed things up a bit I'll be glad to donate 20 bucks a year or so to help with costs.

I think he is leasing a physical server, so he can host BCF and anyone elses personal websites. He would use the proceeds from hosting other people's websites to offset the cost of the server/connection. In essence, if you are paying a hosting company to serve a website, then Basil might be able to do it for you instead.
