That is really cool. that is just neat how he put that together. I was cracking up, when he was putting that giant crate in his garage by himself.

note to self: start taking more pics, and get some video, might help when put it back together

As someone else mentioned: In the end he bought a new frame, fenders, and no telling what else. So did he restore it or build a new car using a few old parts? If I ever find the time to do a proper restoration of a car, I will do as my father does (and has been trying to teach me). That is ...do everything yourself except precision machining. Just my 2 cents.

Trevor, I consider myself to be fortunate in that I can do the machining as well. It's such a satisfying feeling to look at a finished project, (or a nearly finished project) and realize that you did everything by yourself.

Yes, I envy you. Maybe someday when the kids are grown I'll... Nope, probably have thought of other things I'll want to do by then. :smile:
