I have today discovered two emails in my spam folder that should never have gone there, one from my attorney and another equally as important.

Automated spam filters such as those in Gmail are suspect.
 
I further notice that Gmail has no way that I see to identify address that are not ever spam.
 
I use an earthstink affiliate, have since out first provider went away. POP3 account, I keep a window open to webmail, in addition to regular mail on my Outlook Express. I monitor the SPAM folder about every hour to make sure.
I have a gmail account for BS purposes, for websites I do not want to have my full contact information, and that's all I use it for.
