I'll be putting a new accelerator cable on my'76 Midget this weekend and notice the end of it disappears into the fenderwell. I haven't looked under there yet, but what is involved in replacing that end of it?
not much really . If you have a replacement cable with a solderd or crimped ball. un hook from carb and pull into drivers floorboard. thread new cable up from drivers floorboard. freed thru new outer and re hook to carb.
I did this once on the side of 495 in RI. in about 6 min flat.
