In the Last Week i have seen some TVR specialists in older TVRs Describe the changes at David Gerald as i quote "The Demise of David Gerald" this is far from the case.
David Gerald will still be selling parts well be it via the TVR parts however in talking with Mike and Doug several months ago when this was still not signed and sealed the reason made sense.
David Gerald wanted to focus on what they did best and the parts side although important to those who ordered items to them it was a much less key to there Company.
They felt that TVR under the new owners would be able to in the long term server owners better and be able to invest in producing parts that in recent times may not have been available.
I am sure it will take time for things to settle and TVR Parts to get there act together on the Older TVR items but fingers crossed that will happen.
I am sure that many of us will want to wish Doug a Big thank you for all he has done over the years to help and assist owners over the phone and a very good and quick turn around on parts to both UK owners and overseas owners.
And i am sure we will see great things come out of David Gerald as they move the Company forward both from the Racing Side and from the Maintenance and Restoration Side to both Early TVRS and Later Cars
