After ignoring my C for months I decided to see if it was still drivable. Had it stored here at the house and hadn't been started...or even looked at in months. Trailered it to the shop, washed and cleaned it up. Charged the battery while doing that. Checked all the levels...changed the oil and filter..blah...blah. Fuel pup hesitated then fired up. Ran horrible, dropped the three aft cylinders?? Popped the carb apart, looked pretty clean..still nothing. Decided to strip the carb on the car, pulled the slide and hit it with carb cleaner. My pal Bill was standing there and watched something fly up. Turned out to be what looked like a big chunk of brown paper or cardboard stuff?? Strange. Anyhow, reassembled it and set everything and drives like a charm. As I have a buyer for my 911...looks looks like I'll be driving the C again.

got sucked into the feed tube. Blowing back thru the slide passage dislodged it apparently. Still scratching my head...may drive it to lunch today.
