My GF's cell phone died so she got a new phone and switched providers (her old service had lousy coverage around her home). She picked up an LG VX9900 "EnV" which, by most of the reviews, is a terrific phone - typical ratings are 8 out of 10 on the various sites. The problem is, the audio quality on it is absolutely hideous. No highs, just flat, lifeless, difficult to understand, muffled, weak audio.
Careful reading of the various reviews seems to show that most of the writers want to expound on the text-messaging, camera, and music playing abilities of this (and most other similar phones) rather than the audio.
One review gave it an 8 out of 10 (average for this phone), said it had lots of "pros" and the only "con" was an error or two they had with it. In the review the say the audio quality is "fair to poor"...well what the heck is the point of the phone if your sound like crud!?
But anyway, back to my point... after using it for a couple of days I think she's going return it, but what to try next?
Any recommendations?
