"Celebrity Classic Cars"

There are some fellow New Englanders out there, so I figured I'd post this.

Celebrity Classic Cars

"All vehicles are shown by appointment only."

The owner of this store-to-be was featured on either Barrett Jackson or Mecum Auctions. The guy is from the east bay side of Rhode Island, and the store is visible off of I-95, between exits 15 and 16 (on the east side of the highway).

So, if you want to spend anywhere from $75,000 to $2M, give them a call. Nothing British spotted on their website however.

Just who is "Doris Duke",& why should we care about a place
that sells cars like that?

Jeeze...

Well, I find it interesting.

I see cars as art. Cars can be any shape, any color, any style. But it's a piece of art. Some cars don't really make a good piece of art, like say a 90s Ford Taurus, and some make the world look in amazement, like the E-Type Jag. Older cars are worth more, like old art is worth more. Cars from the 1930s are just better looking than stuff now IMO.

Any place that sells or works with such pieces of art should be noticed by the car community. I was also going to mention an auto body shop in my area that specialises in older cars, but I felt that was not needed.

They also can get ahold of older cars upon request from buyers. Might be of interest.

Daisy's mom?

Other than being a tobacco heiress, she had one gorgeous car built for her!

Re: "Celebrity Classic Cars"

Who'd think that an interesting place like that would crop in in Cranston (I was born and raised in N. Scituate, RI).
