First of all the quality is horrifying. Like makes you a little dizzy to watch horrifying. My 6 year old son shot this riding in the passenger seat with his 40 buck Fisher-Price digital camcorder.

Second of all.... yes, my TR3 on this date was running like a pig. You can hear it missing like crazy. I was running way too rich from a multitude of problems I've since fixed and the timing was way too advanced.

But... what the heck. It's the only car-related video I have handy at this moment. Plus it has a nice representation of all the reasons I love this car and why I love involving my son as much as possible. In my mind listening to him whoop when I floor it and hear him making engine noises along with the car is priceless.

I'll get the boy out with me again with my real camera and we'll shoot some more now that it's running like a scared rabbit. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think that little camera worked well. It was kinda like a music video, but with a 45 year old song

I should record his running commentary when I'm doing something under the hood. He's always got an idea of how to help and it always includes oil.

"Dad - I know what the problem is - you need more oil here" - points at battery

"Dad - you see what it does is run oil from here over to those things - are you sure it has oil???" - points at carbs

"Dad - why are bubbles coming out of here? is the oil boiling?" - points to overheating radiator cap.

Gotta love it. At least he's interested and he's a better third foot for bleeding brakes than SWMBO.
 
Geez... I haven't been this woozy since seeing the chase scene in Bullitt on the big screen. Nice work, my thumb's up.

Your correct on the standard 3 pulls per session but I think he felt sorry for me. Each pull was a little better than the previous run. I believe it was $40 or $50 for the session.
