Castor Correction Kit

Anybody have any experience with the castor correction kit that Moss is selling?An interesting idea in theory, I was just wondering how it worked in practice.

Seems like a lot of money for a couple of wedges. They would reduce the castor a bit, don't know if enough to be worth the trouble & expense. You might find similar wedges at a body supply shop.

Knowing why caster is designed into a front end, why would you want to reduce it? Taking out some caster should make a manual steering vehicle steer a little easier, but it makes it less stable. I would rather have the stability!
 
Is that kit similar/or the same as the the Frontline Costello kit?

Modern tires don't need as much castor for straight line stability. So taking some of the castor out lightens the steering under load making it more responsive.

I guess if you use a vintage style of tire it would be bad though.

Yes, Moss has recently started carrying several Frontline Costello products (at a noticeable markup).

p.s. In Americanese, it's spelled "caster".
