Well, MY jaw hit th' floor... Lotus Cortina MK-I. And that 'drop nose' GT Alfa.

*swoon*

Excellent photos of some very nice car eye candy!!

You know, it's really cool how that old Ford rat rod with no paint or interior seems to truly belong among those expensive exotics.

Lovely bunch of cars, wish I could be there!

I also spotted the different rims on the TR6.. Not my taste, but they look good.
Whats the red car pictured just above the Smart car? Is it a Maserati?
Love tha Alfa Guilia Super.
once again an astounding group of pictures of an astounding group of cars.
Thanks.
P.S. the Laser 917 kit car...... blaaagggghhh.....

Does anyone know if that round section in the middle on that Stupidbaker has any function, or is it strictly a styling exercise??

Didn't one of the Forum members restore a red TR6 with Datsun / Nissan wheels on it? I remember restoration pictures of a red car with these wheels on it.

Edit: Looks like tr6_easyrider's car ... Forum Post

See, I'm not losing my mind ...

As usual, a bit of everything to please everyone!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

I love these weekly posts... makes me wish for a minute that I lived in southern California. What an interesting gathering.

Alfa really made some fantastic little coupes and sedans, those GTs just have perfect lines. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

That's what those are from!!! The 79-81 280ZX Turbo wheel. I think that the bolt pattern is the same as well as the offset.

I had three 280Z as demo's back then, with the silver and gold wheels, but never a turbo due to the scarcity of the cars. We only got 4 or 5 a year, so I could have a regular model, but not the Turbo. Since we got full sticker, plus $$$$ there was no reason to put miles on them before the sale.
