New cars are not that great; they break down! This guy solved that problem with a reliable spare!

Not the most reliable of spares. I'd have opted for a TR.
Once again it needs to be said.

80% of Triumphs are still on the road.

The rest managed to make it home or get a tow, :D :bananawave:

I don't even do my semi-annual check of spare pressure and jack availability.
What I do, is make sure my AAA card is active and paid up.
I can't recall having to even call them to change a single tire.
But the most recent call was for a 'locked' wheel due to a caliper bolt coming loose.
That happened because the mechanic (me) failed to torque the bolts after a brake job.
A few years ago I had a double catastrophic failure of two tires and wheels.
Yes, I misjudged an apex and drove over a curb, a $2000 mistake.
So two things, I'm retired from pushing my driving skills, and no longer maintain our cars.
