Carpet work

Just finished (actually re-did) the last of the floor carpets. By the time I've finished the car I should just about have got it down pat...:rolleyes2: I've re edged a number of the sections, and am still tempted to redo the first of the simple sections (main floor left- passenger side). But it can stay for the time being.

Tunnel sections looked like they were going to end in tears after my initial hopes, came back together. I separated the section that boxes in the body in front of the g'box cover and the carpet that covers the g'box tunnel. Originally I decided it would be simple to make it all one piece. However partly because the fibreglass tunnel is not really a perfect fit at the front, and also just because joining the sections is not always easy, I ended up making them two sections. It fits pretty well now. Pleasingly I've still managed to fit them all well without the need to glue any thing in. Its all fixed with carpet snaps.

Thanks Basil - almost done with the carpet now! Just a few small bits of edging...
