I just had an interior kit installed in my 1964 BJ7 (I'm not going to name the vendor). The carpet material is fine, but there is no edging or trim (do they call it the "binding"?)in a number of places such as the forward edge of the carpet in the footwells). Is this correct?

The only edging on authentic kits is around the gearshift lever and the handbrake lever.
