Carpet kit?

Hi,
I got this trunk kit with the rest of my carpet order from Prestige. I can not make it make sense. Prestige said,"the large square
> section lays in the boot with
> the 2 long pieces laying either side of it. The
> small triangle shaped pieces
> are the wheel arch covers."
Am I missing something? I was expecting something more like the one on ebay.

trunk kit

ebay kit

Thanks,
Walter

Walter -

Trim the top more so the piece fits inside the frame. I might have "wet" the curve slightly before using the clamps.

Also - lots as if your too tight on the wheel weld. Will look on mine tonight.

PS - as for the trunk - I painted mine. SOrry I can't be of help. Gut feeling, your missing a piece or it's simply not 100% covered. Best gues with what you have - big square covers trunk floor. Long rectangles cover side / bottom of the wheel weld. Trianglular pieces partially cover the top of the wheel welds.

Hi George,
Yea, I'm soaking, clamping and screwing it into submission. My next challenge is the door pockets. I'm going to make those special little clips out of nails. I'll cut em short, split em with the grinding wheel on the dremel...good to go.

Thanks for your input. Wish someone could solve my carpet mystery.

Thanks Ed. Prestige only shows one kit. They offered to make new ones if I send them paper patterns. These are made in England. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SHOW THE BRITISH HOW TO MAKE CARPETS FOR BRITISH CARS!!!

Rant over.

About a year ago I had to explain to the folks at Prestige what Hardura was. They said that they had never heard of it before. Go figure.
