carpet installation

I have been looking for links related to carpet installation in a BT7. Can't find any. I bought a Moss carpet set which includes the "map" showing the layouts of the different pieces. What I'm looking for are the tricks of the trade for this project. There was no carpet in the car when I got it so there is nothing to go by. Lots of empty screw holes, old glue etc. Looks like some pieces get the adhesive treatment and some the fasteners. And yes, I'll be adding lots of foil backed insulation at the same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dave is right on, again. Carpet installation isn't all that difficult, but, go slowly and be careful. If memory serves it's basically 3 jobs. Glue side peices on (by the doors)and on the inner portion of the footwells, then cover the transmission cover, finally cover the floors using the snaps. One word of advice. The Moss kit screws for the snaps are short, and weak. They won't reach through insulation into the metal floors, you'll have to cut little circles out of the material. If you use the rag like material they furnish it'll fit better but won't insulate as well as the foam back material. Good Luck
