Carpet installation question BN7

I am attempting installation of the carpet and as usual finding it to be a bit more of a challenge that I expected but that is getting to be the normal process with this project. My car has the metal cover that has 3 snaps on each side of the transmission and drive shaft tunnel that are thankfully still in their proper position. There are 21 snaps in the kit that I recieved. I probably could have identified where most of the snaps should be on the floor pan but it is covered with dynamat. I possibly could locate some of the holes from the under side of the car but probably not all of them.
Does anyone know how far off each corner of the floor carpet sections that these snaps are to be installed. Is there suposed to be 4 in the sections in front of the seats that lay flat and 4 on the inclined foot rest portion? Is there a standard or do they just get placed randomly as needed?

Thanks Bob

Hey Bob,
Just finished installing carpet in a 100-4 but have done a BT7 as well.
The carpet on the inclined area were glued on my kit- from Heritage per their
instructions. The main pieces in front of the seats used 4 carpet snaps pretty
much placed on the corners about a inch or two in from the edges. My 100-4
still had the original snaps still in place but the above placement seems to
keep everything in place well. Hope this helps.
Regards,
Mike
