Does anyone know if dual carbs were an option for the 1100? I had one back in the day and it had two SU's but the few remaining ones that I have seen only have a single SU?
Well that's interesting. Maybe it was actually an MG 1100 that I owned and not an "Austin"1100 ? Was there much difference in the two models? Mine was a 1966 model. Another thing I noticed about the 1100 that I was looking at the other day is it had a small blinker light on the end of the turn signal lever. I don't recall that in my car. I'm guessing that was an Austin thing along with the single carb.
