carbs, carbs and more carbs

On my new midget, there is the Zenith carb. I managed to get the car to run but there are vent pipes and hose and anti smog stuff all over it. I hope t can run without all that crap because it is coming off. If that doesn't work I know where there is a weber with a cannon intake that will bolt right on.

A single HS4 will fit with just a very little work and will probably run better than a Webber (and give better milage too) on a 1500.

This evening....rrrrr...varoom. Didn't even have to open the door, just reach in and pull.

Next time, open the door (and get in) trust me it's even better.

+1 easy conversion - use the rear carb from an MGB as the bolt pattern matches.

Kim, if you ever want to try the single SU carb let me know, I've got plenty of used carbs.

+2

I have an HS4 conversion on my 1500 Spitfire. It is much easier to deal with than the Stromberg. Someday... I'll fit the dual SUs I have in the attic. For now the single carb is more than enough for my needs.

Hap, I will probably do that. Just give me time enough to lose enough of religion on this one  Looks a lot like the Kehin Motorcycle carbs though and I might be able to fix it.
