Just spoke with Joe Curto. He did get my carbs and thinks they will go out today. He had nothing nice to say about the throttle bearings.

But the good news is that he said he can make them work like new. Whooooo.

Joe will be on vacation next week just as a bit of info. So like he said they have to go out today. Should have done this quite some time ago, darn I hate waiting for parts. I want to get the bonnet on, sigh.

Patience, Jack, Patience. I'm sure there's a few more bits and pieces you can work on.

If you're really bored I can send you my old dash, it needs to be sanded, painted, and recovered... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Hmm, his work is going to be throttle bushings, new throttle rods and butterflies.

Nothing to see here, move on. hehe

He feels sure that the bushings are my problem, especialy the rear ones, and I guess he has seen thousands and thousands.

The only thing I have left to do that I can at this point is to install the heater blower. I just refuse to put the bonnet on till it is running correctly and am not even going to order the seat kits till the bonnet is on. Kind of pervise I am.

yeah .. i keep thinking he's doing more work for you. i guess it will be me posting pics from him.
