Carb Rebuilders

I'm looking for a quality re-builder of Strombergs. I'm tired of messing with them and want to get them done right or change to Webers.
Thanks for any input.

Bill Mills Repair in Home Pa. has done some. Made my Spitfire happy.

I was ready to do the Weber 45MCHHs and found out they quit making them and no one has them in stock. I wish I could find a set.

OK - Didn't post this earlier, but have you given any thought to SU's of the proper size? Simple design and easy to set up.

What's the ZS's doing or not doing ? Might be a simple adjustment, there can't be that much wrong with them.

+1 with Joe Curto - and if you want to do most work yourself its a pretty cheap option - just had him rebush my ZS TR4 carbs, bodies came back nice and clean and bushes were great. Made a big difference on my 4, along with the distributor rebuild.

I know it may not be what you want to do, but I trashed (ok I removed them, but didn't throw them away) the original emission control ZS CD2 carbs on my TR250, got a used set of TR4A strombergs on Ebay, which are much simpler, you basically have two adustments, Idle speed and mixture, rebuilt them with new shafts and such and for less than $200 all in the car has never run better.

They look OK too.

I've got a lead on someone. Knows TR's and Price is right so I'll give him a shot.
