Does Hap Waldrop still rebuild carbs? PJ

He does -- he's got mine right now in fact, hope to have them back shortly so I can get back to driving.

Thanks Drew! I'll probably give him my TF carbs to do. He rebuilt the ones on the wifes 72 and they looked and worked like new when they came back. Very pleased with his work. PJ

Paul, I don't get a lot of the early stuff in the shop to rebuild, like the H series, or earlier carbs, so I don't claim to have a lot of experience with them. I do mostly the later HS series carbs for the MGBs, Midgets, etc., I would recommend Joe Curto for your early series carb rebuilding. Not that I don't appreciate your desire to let me rebuild those carbs for you, I do, and thank you, but I would feel more comfortable having you send them to someone with more experience in those carbs than me.

Thanks Hap, Remarks of a true gentleman and friend! I'll contact Joe when I get to that point. Thanks again for your honesty and concern. PJ

I met Joe Curto and was at his table for dinner recently at the British Motor Trade Association event in Virginia. He's a very nice gentleman and I can see why people like him.
