We're leaving Wednesday morning, the 21st, from Clarksville, Tenn. Anyone want to join us?

The "Last Train from Clarksville"?

Will you be standing at the station?

"You can be here by 4:30, 'cause I've made your reservation - don't be slow - oh, no, no, no!"

are you going cross country or interstate? I might be interested

No route at this point. Some pretty country along the Cumberland Plateau...

I've been lookin at a couple of back country routes, trying to stay away from the interstate

Take a look along State Hwy. 30 - from McMinnville to Dayton, then on to Hwy. 411, and up to Gatlinburg. Long-ish drive, but very nice - Cumberland Plateau and the northern edge of the Sequatchie Valley.
