Packed the truck, car on trailer, route selected. Heading to St. Augustine for a show and vacation. Going to The 5th annual "Legends on the Green at World Golf Village" Car Show will be held at World Golf Village ® off I-95 at Exit 323 near St. Augustine, Florida on Saturday, April 19, 2008. The show benefits the Shriners Hospitals for Children and features a judged JCNA Jaguar Concours and a display and judging of many other classic, contemporary and exotic British cars. The following week will be RR a few trips down A1A, just a good time to get away.

Wishing you clear skies and safe travels. Post some photos of the show if you can when you get back.

Hey Russ,

I'm a Shriner and on behalf of our Hospitals and kids, I thank you for your efforts.

Good luck in the show!!!!

Have fun Russ, sounds like the way to clean out the winter cobwebs!

Good fer ya, Russ. And please post some pics.
Car looks nice. There's something about seeing 'em
on a trailer though....brings back memories of how
I got mine home when....well, you might guess. I've
been rebuilding ever since.

Just unpacked at the hotel, picture out the patio door. Show tomorrow, will upload pixs from there then. Wife fixing a Margarita to cool off! Life is sweet!

Hey Russ,

You missed an earthquake in Evansville this morning and after shock a couple of hours later. Lori said " At first they said it was a 5.4 but now they are saying it was a 5.2. And, they are saying it was really two separate earthquakes of the same magnitude at the same time. One was around Vincennes IN and the other was around Mt Carmel IL…around 50 miles from here."

Aren't you glad you not there!

Enjoy!

St Augustine this time of year is wonderful!! Enjoy the A1A cruise, too! Several BCF members along the route south of ya, Wave on th' way by!

Say hello to any Shriner that you meet. Tell him that you have a friend in RI who's a Shriner and wishes he were there.

They love to talk to the participants and the crowd. Ask me how I know that!!

Russ,

We were there back in September.
You have to visit the lighthouse. And
on the East side of the bridge there's
a British Car repair shop.Enjoy!

Just gone back from the show, nice to say the least. The cars were line up in a circle around a lake in front of
the World Golf Village. Had lunch at Murray Bros Caddyshack "good". Met a lot nice people, for a Jaguar Concorse event there were a lot of Triumphs 4 TR3's 2 TR6's and a left hand drive TR5 I bring that up in another thread.

Pixs as promised!

That Yellow TR6 looks like the same color as mine -
- a lighter shade of Yellow than Mimosa.
Any other Forum members there?

I had my cards and passed them out and it was like no one ever heard of the BCF. When I would say there were over 8k members there ears would perk up.

Peter you are correct, what did you think of the 3 with the custom skirts! Thay car had nearly every options, nice car but a little over the top.

Well Sunday was such a great day, about 10AM we departed (sounds like we'll taking a flight) St. Augustine on A1A. On the way to Daytona we saw a TR4 and waved, got to Daytona. Traffic starred to get a little busy, turned around and started back. Just before Flagler Beach they was a flock of LBC's an MGA followed by MGB and a TR6 and something else I just don't remember. Stopped at the Golden Lion for lunch and refreshment, salt on the rim type. Round trip about 120 miles of great sunshine and scenery.
