Is there a way to get a key code for a 70 GT6 in order to have door keys made or would it be easier just to buy a new set of locks for doors and rear hatch

Take the car to the oldest locksmith in the dingiest section of town - he'll knbow how to make a key on the spot!

Exactly. I did the same thing and the guy made one in a couple of minutes. He also fixed bicycles.

I just had some made and it took a while for him to look up the right key, I think he had to refer to a MG key because the Triumph ones didn't match up but any lock smith who is over 50 will be able to do it for you or one who knows his business.
