car cover question

I got a car cover that I think I'll have to return because it comes with a warning not to use it on repainted cars. I was wondering what the issue is - the cover is called PolySoft and the box states that it is "ultra soft cotton fabric". Thanks.

Reckon it doesn' matter what cover it is.
A repainted car takes a long time to 'dry'.
